Sound healing and singing bowls
Are you looking for ultimate relaxation and inner balance? Discover the healing power of sound healing with singing bowls at the holistic practice Mir Balans in Arnhem or The Hague. In this unique form of sound therapy, the vibrations and sounds of the singing bowls are used to release physical and emotional tensions and bring the body into balance. It reduces muscle tension, relieves pain, improves sleep quality, and promotes more balance.
A sound healing with singing bowls
During the sound healing, you will lie down on a massage table, dressed in your own clothing, only jewelry and belt you remove. It is preferable not to wear a blouse or other clothing with buttons or zippers around the abdomen or chest, as the vibrations can pass through the clothing. In this sound therapy session, I gently place the singing bowls on your body and then strike them. The physical vibrations of the bowls spread through your skin, tissues, and organs, allowing your entire body to resonate. This is also called a sound massage. It helps to release blockages and allow energy to flow freely once again.
Balancing chakra’s with sound therapy
The chakras are energy centers in our bodies that exchange energy with our surroundings. Each chakra has its own vibrational frequencies.
A sound massage is a holistic therapy where singing bowls are used to influence the energy in the chakras. By placing and striking the singing bowls on specific points, blockages in the chakras can be released and the energy flow restored. A sound massage can also be combined with chakra healing. In this practice, I use not only the singing bowls but also my voice and healing hands to further balance the chakras. Read more about other forms of healing here.
Peter Hess soundmassage
Peter Hess singing bowls are specifically designed and tuned to the vibrations of the human body, which is why Mir Balans has chosen to use them. One of the reasons why sound massage can be effective is because the frequencies of the bowls are aligned with the vibrations of the chakras, organs, and other tissues. Our bodies are mostly made up of water, and water is an excellent conductor of sound vibrations. The vibrations of the singing bowls can resonate with the water molecules in our bodies. The sound and vibrations of the singing bowls can also stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for relaxation and restoration. This can lead to a reduction in stress.
